Camera Decisions

The past two days I've been looking into different cameras and which one is the right for me. I've been using my Samsung Galaxy S10+ for videography I try my best to in every video since it is something I enjoy doing. Recently people have been asking me to make videos for their cars or take pictures of them and their lover, but I've been wanting to take it to the next level by that I mean I want to improve the quality of my videos so I've been looking to invest into a camera and I say invest since I am hoping to use it as a source of income in the future. I was looking into the brand Canon. I always heard good things about this company and how amazing their cameras are but as I made my research I learned that canons are mostly photography cameras yes they have cameras that are good for video but they are really pricey(6k for a Canon 1dx Mark 3). So I am thinking about getting a Sony since they have different cameras under 3k. The Sony a7c really got my attention it's a compact camera that has amazing built-in stabilization, eye tracking, face tracking, flip screen, and No record limit. It also offers 4k at 24fps and 120fps at 1080p. All of that is really good for the price of the camera which costs 2k. I am going to continue my search for the right camera but I already feel like the Sony a7c will be the one I bring home.

Reflection

This semester has been amazing so far. I feel less stress and pressure now that I am able to learn and do what I love which is cinematography and videography. Since I am not being bombarded with book work I have time to practice and learn better skills for videography. Being able to learn about something that interests me is huge since in school you are always forced to learn things that don't interest you. People learn best when they are learning about something they are passionate about now it no longer just do work and turn it in now I really have an opportunity to learn and make a career in videography.
